A description of Hero From Deep Run Farm:
Hero is a very handsome and talented CHAMPION who consistently
produces puppies that conform to the Labrador Retriever Club breed
standard and make charming hunting companions and pets. In addition
to his terrific blocky, "show dog" good looks, he has the drive and
desire to be a good Hunt and Field Test competitor and Hunting dog.
He currently has his AKC Senior Hunter Title, and legs toward his
NAHRA Intermediate and Senior Titles. He will be competing in AKC
Master as well as NAHRA events this year. Hero will also make his
debut in the Obedience Ring this spring, as he has exhibited such a
delight in all forms of training that we had to do something different
over the winter when the ponds were frozen!
Hero has sired not only numerous Hunt and Field Test title winners, but
also Conformation Specialty Winners, Champions, and Caer Bren Ben,
a son who is spending some time in England and will be exhibited at the
Crufts Dog Show!

Bill completed his Judging apprenticeship in 2005 for both Jr and
Sr Hunt Tests. He judged AKC Hunt Tests in 2006 at the
Rappahannock River Retriever Club and Back Bay Knotts Island
Retriever Club in King William, VA. His 2007 schedule includes
both the tests from 2006 as well as LRCP in September. Bill has
had many compliments from participants that the tests he and his
co-judges set up are fair and challenging for the dogs and
handlers. Bill enjoys meeting new people, and watching young
dogs and Junior Handlers compete for the first time.
